About the product “Paths” is a painting about searching, choices and the paths each of us walks in life. Just as we search for our own path, several paths appear in this work too. Some have colour, others are white, like the periods in our lives when we know where we are going and those when the path is still being discovered step by step. Made in acrylic on canvas, the painting has a predominantly white base, over which I worked with texture paste to create relief, texture and depth. Along the sides are lines in shades of yellow and violet, which bring colour contrasts and outline the idea of different paths, each with its own direction and energy. The work is varnished, for a luminous finish and to protect the colours and textures. “Paths” is an invitation to remember that not every path has to be clear from the start. Some are colourful and easy to recognise, while others are still white, waiting to be discovered and created by you.
