When I release ancestral karma in livestreams, I receive the same question: ‘Cristina, why is my life going just like my mother's?’ My answer is direct: it is not bad luck, and it is not ‘personality’. These are programmes that have passed through the family, generation after generation, and reached you. Good things are not the only things we inherit: wounds, fears, curses and spells are inherited too.
Issues from the family lineage surface for many people just when they begin cleansing themselves: you have barely finished an individual release when the generational ones appear. That is why this work is the backbone of everything I do, and I have collected the phrases in the PDF guide to releasing ancestral karma. Below I explain what ancestral karma is, how to recognise it, what it has to do with curses and spells, and how to release it, step by step.
What a person's karma means—and what ancestral karma is
Let us start with you. A person's karma is, essentially, their soul's account: the deeds, choices and lessons you came to learn. It is redeemed by stopping harmful behaviour and doing good deeds—the only things you take with you beyond a lifetime are good deeds.
You were not born into a family lineage by chance: the soul chooses precisely the family that offers the lesson it needs. I know very well why I incarnated into my father's line—I needed the lesson about money: even if you are caught, do not take what is not yours; even if you are in a position of power, do not take what is not yours.
And ancestral karma is what remains in a family's field, generation after generation. When you work with the energies of the family lineage, you work with powerful energies spanning generations. And these programmes are not just ‘in your head’: they work at DNA level; they are in the blood.
An example that opened my eyes: my grandmother worked all her life to own a house. My mother did the same. And I found myself working in Paris to own... a house. Generation after generation, nobody moves forward. Do not ask ‘What is wrong with me?’ Ask what programme this family lineage carries.
How ancestral karma shows up in real life: repeating patterns
Here are the patterns I see most often.
The story in my family lineage. On my father's side, the village story was that my great-grandfather paid a farmhand after three years of work and then killed him in the forest for the money. I do not know how true it is, but it resonates correctly in the field. The young man's mother, it is said, cursed him. Since then, along that line: alcohol, violence, money taken unjustly. This is ancestral karma in flesh and blood: a curse and generations paying for it without knowing why. The curse would last until someone, without ego, asked for forgiveness on behalf of the family lineage.
Patterns around money. Either poor family lineages with the mentality ‘we come from poor people’, or lineages where money was taken or lost through abuse, with programmes such as money equals danger, money equals abuse—inherited financial trauma. I carried the programme success equals death—when I removed it, I cried. When working on poverty, I say aloud: ‘From now on, my family lineage no longer suffers from poverty.’
Patterns around love. Confusing love with sacrifice or pain, believing you must fight to deserve it. If love in your family has always involved sacrifice, that does not mean ‘that is what love is like’. It is a programme.
Patterns around fear. Seeing the future through the lens of fear, turning every uncertainty into an anticipated tragedy, living on constant alert, expecting disaster—from generations that had reason to be afraid and whose fear remained in the field.
Silence, addictions and illnesses. The programme ‘Be quiet’—hidden needs, swallowed truths, closed communication—is common among us and can be reprogrammed. In my work, alcohol, violence and addictions appear as programmes placed in the family lineage, and behind them there is almost always a wounded heart—which is why the person concerned rarely asks for help while the family becomes agitated around them. There are also programmes of lack: hunger, a feeling of sufficiency that never arrives even though money is there.

Signs that you carry ancestral programmes
How can you tell it is about your lineage, rather than just your own life? Here is what I observe:
- The pattern repeats despite logic. You have worked on yourself but still end up in the same story—or you see the same pattern in several family members: around money, relationships or silence.
- Ancestral issues emerge after individual work. You cleanse yourself and the generational layer quickly surfaces—a good sign: you have reached the deep layer.
- Very strong reactions to phrases about the family lineage. You burp like a dragon, feel nauseous or have diarrhoea if there is a lot to cleanse, or yawn if there is less. Tears flow—that is the soul crying. Shivering, cold, sweating, a lump in the throat, itching: releases, not panic.
- Or the opposite: you feel nothing. People who are very much in their heads, ‘encased in concrete’, initially feel nothing on the salt. Keep going: the field opens.
- Bad dreams after releasing bindings on salt. Your intuition tells you which ones matter. Do not ignore them: they show what you still need to work on.
Something I always say: for persistent physical symptoms, see a doctor first—energy work goes alongside caring for your health, not in place of it.

Spells and curses on the family lineage
Here is the part few people know: spells are not cast only on one person. They can be cast on an entire family lineage or on the connections between you and your lineage—so that you no longer receive anything from it. That is why, when releasing bindings, you cut all the ties and chains placed on you, your children, your ancestors and the entire lineage, and ask for the stolen spiritual strength to be returned.
Curses have an author and a reason, which is why they are worked on through family constellations: we need to see who cast the curse and why—as in my great-grandfather's story. In lineages that survived through witchcraft, the darkness runs deep: contracts with the devil, demons, witches and anything that is not light are cancelled. There are even contracts for selling souls—which is why you should say aloud: ‘No soul is for sale.’ Neither yours nor anyone else's in your family lineage.
You can also recognise spells on the family lineage through the body: pricking sensations (for voodoo I use musk oil —on the chakras, on the salt, on painful areas), hiccups, heaviness. I have written about more signs in the article on what you dream when someone has cast spells on you —dreams often tell you exactly what is in your field.

How releasing ancestral bindings is done: the steps I use
Releasing ancestral bindings combines energy and psychological techniques: releasing bindings with the best of constellations and psychology. You do not sit digging around to figure out which programme you might carry—you take the phrases in order and keep going.
1. Salt on the floor, not in the bath
Take one kilogram of coarse salt and put it on the bathroom floor. Not in the bath: the energies coming out need to be placed on the ground, not in the water you then wash in. You can do the release fully clothed—it is not like working on spells. I have not yet decoded why it works so well, but I know two things: salt is a gift from God, and darkness does not love it. At the end, leave the salt for an hour or two if nobody will step in it, then throw it away. And a trick of mine: a salt cushion that I sit on while working at my desk.
2. Intention—and the warning about becoming a rescuer
Sit on the salt with the intention: ‘I cleanse myself and everyone who came before me.’ But watch out for the trap: do not become the rescuer of the family lineage. It is not your job to carry everyone's karma—it is the task of each lineage's soul. You are the representative who makes the declaration, not the rescuer who takes everything on.
3. The phrases: dissolve and reprogramme
The basic formula, spoken aloud:
‘I dissolve the programme of turning every uncertainty into an anticipated tragedy within my family lineage, and I reprogramme my lineage's DNA for peace, flexibility and trust in the course of life.’
Work in the same way on fear, self-devaluation, sacrifice, silence and poverty: dissolve the programme and reprogramme your lineage's DNA for what you want in its place. When you want to address things generally, you have the umbrella phrase: ‘I release all ancestral karma.’ And for the ancestors, my cornerstone phrase:
‘Dear ancestors, your karma is yours and has reached me. I leave it here on the salt; it is not mine.’
As the representative of your lineage, you ask forgiveness: ‘I ask forgiveness on behalf of my family lineage from all those who have been hurt by it.’ This is not repentance in which you belittle yourself, but taking responsibility: you acknowledge it without ego and do good deeds. Then declare: ‘I, as the representative of my family lineage, declare that this lineage belongs to God and to God alone.’ And close with: ‘Yes to God. Yes to life. Yes to love. Yes to light.’
The golden rule: do not rush. Take two phrases and work through them thoroughly until the releases are over. Let the salt work. You will find all the phrases, with details for each programme, in the PDF guide mentioned at the beginning.
4. Release through the body, not just the mind
The phrase is not enough if you say it like a poem. Draw light through the crown chakra and push the dirt down onto the salt. Spin the chakra that activates, at your own pace—if you feel heaviness in your chest, that is exactly what is being set in motion. Tapping helps with releases. And an exercise of mine: I imagine I am inside an egg, break the egg and move to the next energy level. At the end, activate your chakras, both yours and your ancestors', and ask for all the spiritual strength lost or stolen from your family lineage to be returned.
5. Musk oil and the black candle
For voodoo and pricking sensations: musk essential oil, nothing else—on the chakras, on painful areas, on the salt. When a chakra activates strongly during cleansing (for me, the throat—my path is to speak), you can work on it with a black candle on one day. Your intuition tells you what to do: you do not need anyone's validation.
6. How long to work
The right question is not ‘How much longer do I need to release bindings?’ but: do you just want to survive, or manifest a good life? As a guide: at least 30 days on salt; for harmful spells on the lineage, up to 90 days. I had a client who worked on salt every evening for six months—and resolved everything she needed to resolve. Change the salt daily and repeat the release whenever you feel the urge. To avoid remaining at a low vibration, finish with activations: light codes, the power of the soul, joy. Because if you bring your entire cleansed lineage behind you, you are practically invincible.
What you cannot do on your own
The phrases in my livestreams are powerful, but some work requires more. The hardest work—lineages caught in witchcraft—is not done alone: it requires a session with a practitioner alongside you. Curses require a family constellation so we can see who cast the curse and why—we work on them in the weekly working group with constellations and releases. Difficult lines are worked on specifically: complete releases with your mother and complete releases with your father, because the feminine and masculine within a lineage are freed differently. If you want to proceed systematically, I have created the video course on breaking ancestral karma; the other materials are in the collection for releasing spiritual bindings.

Frequently asked questions about ancestral karma
What does a person's karma mean?
A person's karma is the sum of their deeds, choices and soul lessons. It is redeemed by stopping harmful behaviour and doing good deeds—the only things you take with you beyond a lifetime are good deeds. The soul chooses its lessons, including the family lineage into which it is born.
How can I tell whether I carry ancestral programmes?
Patterns repeat from generation to generation—around money, love, illness or silence—and you see the same story in several family members. You confirm it on the salt: reactions to phrases about the lineage are among the strongest, because energies spanning generations are being cleansed.
What is the difference between ancestral karma and a curse or spell on the lineage?
Ancestral karma is the sum of everything the lineage has done, plus programmes formed over time. Curses and spells are intentional workings—on one person, the entire lineage, or the connections between you and your family. They can all be released, but curses require a constellation: who cast the curse, and why.
How long does releasing ancestral bindings take?
At least 30 days on salt; for severe spells on the lineage, up to 90 days. I have also seen six months of work every evening, changing the salt daily. It is not a race: two phrases, worked through thoroughly, until the releases are over.
Can I release ancestral bindings for my parents or children?
Do not become the rescuer of the lineage: each soul has free will, and working on someone else without their consent does not hold. For your children, cleanse yourself and set a different example—children do what they see. Their destiny does not belong to you, but this way you pass less on to them.
If your soul has brought you this far, you are ready. Stop carrying your family lineage's story on your shoulders as though it were your destiny: put salt on the floor, say the phrases, ask forgiveness where needed and put the rest down. Be better yourself—and your children will inherit light, not programmes. With your entire lineage behind you, you are unstoppable. Sending you a kiss, and I look forward to seeing you at the next livestream, on the salt.
