“Cristina, can you represent the deepest wound my mother left me with?” That was the message in the chat during the live stream about mothers, and the answer took a different form each time: lack of self-confidence. The need for validation. “I am worth nothing.” “I am stupid.” A hunger for love. They all had the same source: the relationship with your mother, the first relationship in your life.
Before we go any further, I want one thing to be clear: this article is not against mothers. Our mothers, in turn, had wounded mothers. The cleansing I am talking about is not revenge, but giving back: you give your mother what belongs to her and keep what belongs to you — and what is yours is more than enough.
What is the mother wound?
Our mother is the first relationship in our life. Normally, the mother gives, the child receives, and the mother gives only gifts. But a mother who was not seen and loved as she needed may place her own fears, criticism and helplessness in her child. And we, the children, take on all these energies out of boundless love. We do not take them on out of malice, but out of love. That is why they take such deep root.
What do we most often receive through the maternal line? Programs such as “you are stupid”, “be quiet”, “shut your mouth”. Conditional love, through which the child internalizes “I do not deserve it” and “I am not enough”. Visible and invisible limits — the invisible prison you feel around you without seeing it. The program “life is hard”. And, in the most difficult cases, the energy of “I am an unwanted child”.
Here is the key: from what I have seen in people, the vast majority of adult problems involve a wound with the mother, even when the father was the toxic one. Because much of the rest of life consists of repetitions of the early years. When you stay in a relationship that does not nourish you or do not choose yourself at work, you unconsciously repeat your mother's and father's programs. And there is something else, something very important: unconsciously, we want to save our parents — and ruin our lives. Nobody can do your cleansing while you are trying to save your mother.
How the mother wound appears in adulthood
In live streams, I have seen the same patterns again and again. Here are the most common:
- The need for validation. You wait for someone outside you to encourage you. But even if someone gave you that encouragement now, it would be in vain: you wanted it back then; now you are adults. The solution is to become your own biggest fan.
- The inner critic and perfectionism. The critical voice instilled over the years, and perfectionism as a subtle form of “I must do more”. Perfectionism sounds like a compliment, but it is self-sabotage: it does not encourage you; it drains your energy.
- Control and being on alert. The need to control everything, hypervigilance, constantly anticipating what might go wrong, the feeling that life is a dangerous place. There is always a fear behind control. This is the territory of chakra 1 — safety in the world.
- The rescuer role. The child who grew up too soon, the one who “had to be strong for everyone”, the one who solves everyone's problems to feel valuable.
- A hunger for love. A partner cannot fill this hunger. Even if they give to you, you remain hungry, because you do not receive in the way you need. The only person who can give you exactly what you need is you.
- Overdeveloped parts. Our wounds lead us to develop certain traits excessively — stubbornness, for example. When it surfaces, you behave like a child who is actually talking to their mother, not to the person in front of them.
- The fear of leaving what is familiar, even when it hurts. Including fear of your boss, which is often the old childhood fear of punishment.
If you recognize yourself in any of these, do not judge yourself: there is nothing wrong with you — it is a wound, and wounds can be worked on.

The salt ritual for your mother's energies
I have told you before about the power of salt: it cleanses not only magic, but also trauma. I use salt cleansing for psychological issues too, because salt has a real cleansing effect. Here are the steps, as we did them in the live stream:
- Put coarse salt on the floor, about a kilogram, in the bathroom or wherever is convenient. Stand on it with bare feet, ideally naked. Not in salt water: it becomes diluted in water, and baths serve only for maintenance. On dry salt, the ritual is complete.
- Close your eyes, to connect with the energy field. If you feel nothing, you are either too much in your head or dissociated: gently return to your body.
- Say the phrases aloud and do not rush. You are not reciting poems. The word has creative power, and the movement is to push the energy outward, from the body into the salt. Open every cell of your body and give your mother what belongs to her.
The basic phrases, which you can say as they are:
“Dear mother, I give you back everything that belongs to you, and I let everything that is not me drain out of my body.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back all the unspoken words.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back all the beatings.” (If you experienced beatings, let them flow out: the body holds them. I wrote about working with childhood violence here.)
- “Dear mother, I give you back all the criticism. Your criticism was about you and your lack of self-esteem. You placed it on me, but it is not mine.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back the program ‘you are stupid’.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back all the conditional love.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back all the limits, visible and invisible, conscious and subconscious. I leave the invisible prison created by my mother. I am an adult.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back the program ‘life is hard’. Your life is not my life.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back all your helplessness, all the control and all the harshness.”
Then comes the second part, which is just as important:
“Dear mother, I take back everything that belongs to me. I ask all the pieces of my soul to come back to me.”
You take back the self-confidence lost with your mother, your self-love, your childhood. If you have not cut the cord yet, cut it: you are an adult, no longer a child. The mother–child bond remains anyway, but we cut everything old and everything preventing you from living happily. You can even go as far as breaking the soul contract: “We agreed that you would be my mother and I would be your daughter. It has been fulfilled. I am no longer your victim.”
What you will feel. You burp (especially over what has not yet been worked through), yawn, your skin itches, you cry — crying is among the final stages and is a release. If anger rises, that is good: anger is a stage of healing. If you have not experienced at least a little anger, you may have rushed into forgiveness too quickly and still be in the rescuer role. At the end, thank the energies that are leaving: they were necessary to survive in a difficult environment, and now you can let them go. The number of words does not matter; what matters is how much you let go. It is like an onion: layer upon layer upon layer. If you have a lot to cleanse, stand on salt day after day — sometimes for up to 90 days.
And remember: this is not a ritual against your mother. You do not harm her by giving her what belongs to her. You can also do it if your mother is no longer with us — I did it for my deceased father.

Releases involving your mother: my method
Psychological releases came to me through guidance; I tested them on myself first, and then I share them with you. That is how the book of complete releases with your mother came into being, with over 200 pages of phrases on every theme: being on alert, identity, survival, family programs, abundance.
The method is simple: center yourself, say the phrase and push the energy outward, from the emptiness within you. Return to the phrases that produce symptoms and work with them repeatedly. We begin with safety — chakra 1:
- “Dear mother, I give you back the need to live constantly on alert.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back anxiety and the constant state of tension.”
- “Dear mother, I give you back the need to control everything.”
- “I choose to be safe in this world.”
About that alertness: if a mother constantly tells her child “be careful, because...”, it is not objective reality — it is her fears. A child raised this way lives conditioned by anxiety.
When the phrases open toward the family lineage, we work transgenerationally:
“Dear mother, I give you back the burden of fear carried through generations.” And further: “Dear ancestors, I give you back your fear. In our lineage, from today onward, we live without fear.”
You imagine your mother in the constellation field and give her back everything that is not yours, with love and respect. Let everyone remain with what they created; your mother, in turn, received her wound from her mother. If you want to understand better how we work in the field, read the article about family constellations. And when you finish with your mother, your father comes next — I wrote separately about the relationship with your father and releases through the paternal line.
The mother wound, the family lineage and the inner child
In our lineage, a great deal of pressure is placed on children: the child is put to work, placed between their parents, made responsible for the adults' peace. In effect, you take someone's childhood and mortgage their future. What we could bear, we bore; what we could not, we passed on — that is how the inheritance went from generation to generation. These releases stop that inheritance with you.
And now, the balance I owe you. Your mother did not give you all your programs. Often you took them on yourself, out of love, even though she did not give them to you intentionally. A traumatized mother puts pressure on you unconsciously, not out of malice. When she said “you are stupid”, your parents were really talking about themselves — that was all they knew and all they could do. You internalized their critic, and that inner critic does not help you: it sabotages you.
Yes, forgiveness comes — but forgiveness is the final stage. If you jump straight to it without going through anger, giving back and pain, you remain in the rescuer role: beautiful on the surface, a wound underneath. After cleansing, forgiveness comes naturally, and the prayer for forgiveness and release can help you express it.
And because the mother you are waiting for is no longer coming: you become a mother to yourself. The first place to turn is the inner child. The exercise we do in the live stream is simple: hug yourself and say, “You are fine as you are. You are not stupid. Perhaps you are different, but you are not stupid.” Work with your inner critic in the same way: “Dear inner critic, you helped me survive when things were hard. But I am an adult now, and I no longer need criticism to survive.” You can find complete exercises in the article about healing the inner child.
When you need more than phrases
You can do these cleansings on your own, but some wounds require real therapy with a specialist. The energy of being an unwanted child, beatings, humiliation — these are difficult to release and require working with someone, not just saying phrases at home. And if you want us to work together, I will gladly do so: the release live streams are more powerful than working alone, and an individual session addresses your exact wound. You will find all the release materials in the release collection.

Frequently asked questions about the mother wound
What is the mother wound?
It is the wound formed in the first relationship in our life. The child takes programs such as “I do not deserve it”, “you are stupid”, “life is hard” from the mother's field, and the adult keeps them, unprocessed.
How can I tell whether I have a wound with my mother?
Look at the patterns: the need for validation, a harsh inner critic, perfectionism, control, hypervigilance, the rescuer role, hunger for love, fear of leaving what is familiar. If you repeat relationships and situations in which you do not choose yourself, the source is often there.
Can I do the ritual if my mother has died?
Yes. The ritual takes place in the field, and your mother does not have to be present or alive: you still give yourself the encouragement and validation you have been waiting for.
Is the salt ritual against my mother?
No. It is a cleansing session, not a revenge session. With love and respect, you give your mother what belongs to her and take back what belongs to you. After all, we are mothers too — and I would want my children to cleanse themselves of me.
Why is forgiveness not enough?
Because forgiveness without the preceding stages means escaping into the rescuer role: you say “I forgive her” while your body still holds the anger and the energies received. First you give back, feel and cry; then you forgive — and the forgiveness will be real, not merely spoken.
How long does salt cleansing take?
What matters is not how long you stand there, but how much you release from yourself. Sometimes a few sessions are enough; if you have a lot to cleanse, work day after day, even for months. When you no longer react to a phrase, that part has been worked through.
Your mother has her wound. You have your life. Take your soul back, piece by piece, and let the rest drain into the salt. Sending you a kiss, and I look forward to seeing you at the next live stream.
