When spiritual awakening begins, one of the first stages you reach is the mind. And I say it directly: our minds are full of rubbish. Full of limiting programs, comparisons, fears, and words heard in childhood. Mental clarity does not come from more information, but from cleansing: you see which programs run your mind and let them go.
I did several livestreams about the mind: a release practice I called ‘Free your mind’ and several evenings of mind representations using the constellation technique, with people who joined the livestream. Below I share what I saw there, where mental fog comes from, and the two-hemisphere exercise step by step.
I find our taboo around mental health absurd: we think and manifest through the mind, yet we attend to it least. I went to a psychologist late and regretted it — if I had gone ten years earlier, I would not have spent so long inside thoughts I was not even aware of.
Important: I am neither a psychologist nor a psychotherapist. What I do is release practices and energetic work. If you have obsessive thoughts, anxiety, panic attacks, persistent brain fog, memory problems, or concentration difficulties, see a doctor and psychologist — brain fog can also have physical causes that need checking. If you wish, we also offer an individual session with Laura, a psychologist. The exercises below can support you, but do not replace treatment.
What mental clarity means
The mind has a very clear role: it is our tool for functioning in this world, in 3D. The soul gives you the path through intuition. The heart and emotions provide the energy — manifestation happens from the heart, which is why having an open heart matters. The mind carries things out. It needs to be the computer that pieces things together, produces results, and carries out tasks.
Mental clarity means each part stays in its place. When the mind wants to lead instead of the soul, argues with itself, or pulls in every direction, fog appears.
The first law of the Universe is mentalism: what you think is what you manifest. If you have dark thoughts, you manifest a corresponding life. Ultimately, spiritual awakening means becoming increasingly conscious of what you think. That is why I always tell people who complain they have no money: the problem is not ‘I have no money’. The problem is how you think.
Where mental fog comes from
Too much content, even spiritual content
Some of you consume too much spiritual content. I did it too, rest assured: it is one of the first stages of awakening. You seek information, information, information, until it becomes too much and you are flooded. Then turn off your phone and let everything settle.
I filter a great deal: I follow a few channels, move toward what resonates in my body, and unsubscribe when the content no longer brings me anything. My rule is simple: when consuming content gives me fog, I leave it alone.
Living in the past or future
For the mind, staying in the present matters greatly. If you live in the past and in regret, you are not living your life. If old events often come to mind, look at what is there and work through them one at a time; if necessary, put them into perspective with a psychologist’s help.
Childhood programs
Most thoughts that limit you were not created now, but in childhood. The child misinterpreted the lack of love or support: ‘I do not deserve it’, ‘I am not enough’. That is where the wound and knot are — which is why the problem is resolved most effectively at its source. I wrote about working with this part in the article on healing the inner child.
Haste
We do most foolish things in haste, and haste is usually ego. Before a decision, hold a small ‘council’ within yourself: ask what the inner child thinks, what the mind thinks, what the heart thinks, and what the soul thinks. Without lying to yourself. When they all agree, go ahead.
What mind representations are
Representation begins with the technique used in family constellations. The person ‘appoints’ me through a simple phrase — ‘Cristina, can you represent my mind?’ — and I enter the energy of their mind and say what I feel, what it thinks, and what it wants. Then we move to the second question: ‘What is the most limiting program my mind has?’
I had already represented the soul and inner child, so I said: let us look at the mind too. The programs below are very common. I recount them without any details about the people, because you may recognize yourself.

The limiting programs that emerged in representations
‘I do not want to see the truth’
In the first representation one evening, the mind said clearly: ‘I see that the person in front of me is lying, but I do not want to see it. I hope it might be resolved through magic.’ Magical thinking belongs to a child. The more you bury your head in the sand, the bigger the problem grows. Not seeing it does not make it disappear: either you tackle it, or it tackles you harder. Seeing the truth as it is, even when it hurts — that is clarity.
Pessimism disguised as realism
Another mind said: ‘Nothing impresses me anymore; I expect anything from anyone.’ Being realistic is good. But realistic does not mean pessimistic. You can know people are capable of anything and still retain your joy in life. When joy is missing, there is usually inner-child work to do — the inner child is the force that brings joy.
And a lesson I often see: your greatest advantage can become your greatest enemy. Resilience helped me enormously, but in a toxic relationship it is precisely what makes you stay too long.
‘I have no money’
This emerged several times. Saying ‘I am learning to make money and opening my perspectives’ is one thing; repeating ‘I have no money’ is another. Words create. Why do you think the phrases we say in release practices work? Because words have power. So stop saying ‘I have no money’ — that fixes it in place.
There were also minds that said ‘I want to make money’ and felt abundant, but the money left. Something else is at work there: self-sabotage or loyalty to someone in the lineage. I wrote in depth about this in the article on self-sabotage and how to release yourself from it.
‘What will people say?’
This program makes you stay silent and not act. The truth is people are not watching you: everyone focuses on their own life and interests. I walk down the street singing and do not care. And something else: if nobody criticizes you, it means you are doing nothing good. The stages of success are always the same — first people are shocked and criticize you, then they begin watching, then follow and applaud you.
‘I must work like a horse’
You work for others all your life and forget yourself. Working intelligently does not mean pulling a cart. These are ancestral programs: ‘I work, therefore I exist’. Prioritize yourself, because nobody is coming to save you.
‘I rush’ and ‘I feel bound’
Some minds want everything quickly, do things without thinking, and then regret them. When you feel that energy of haste, tell yourself ‘stop’. Sometimes an ‘I do not deserve it’ program lies behind it: let me do it quickly while I have the chance. Sometimes it is the reverse: the mind wants to, the hands can, but you feel bound. All closed gates are actually in our consciousness. I saw it myself: the gate was open and I held the key.
And if you learn more slowly, that is fine. Those who go into depth are like diesel engines: slower to start, but they keep going over the long term. I am like that. Be gentler with yourself and do not compare yourself.
‘All people are good’
It seems a beautiful thought, but taken to extremes it makes you fail to set boundaries and sacrifice yourself for others. What does being an adult mean? Seeing reality as it is, without projections. This does not mean there are no good people, but that you live in actual reality, not the one in your head.
The ‘blank’ mind
In a few representations, the mind was empty, with nothing in it. Sometimes it was only boredom, a mind sitting and waiting. Sometimes it was dissociation: ‘I feel nothing; I move as if remotely controlled’. Dissociation is one of the hardest trauma responses — the pain is so great you disconnect from yourself. If you recognize yourself here, please do not work alone: see a psychologist or psychotherapist, and first leave the situation that hurts you.
What a healthy mind looks like
There were beautiful representations too: ‘I want to do something productive’, ‘I want to do good’, or very often ‘I want fun’. That is the mind’s good place, constructively occupied. Do activities your mind enjoys, and do them with love — the energy you put in is what comes out.

Free your mind: the two-hemisphere exercise
The right side of the brain is the creative side. If you are empathetic, you function mainly from the right. The left, analytical, mathematical side is the one that has been appreciated and valued. Many people who function from the right were called ‘stupid’ at school, in mathematics and physics. But intelligence has many more forms — school hardly values emotional intelligence at all.
For me, mathematics became associated with violence: I was hit when I could not memorize the multiplication table, and this program stayed in me for a long time. Perhaps you too have a subject associated with fear or shame. If these memories weigh heavily on you, also work through them with a psychologist.
Here are the steps from the livestream:
- Center yourself. Go to your zero point.
- Feel the right side of your brain and tell it ‘I love you’. Send it love. If you have never worked on it, it may hurt.
- Dissolve with love the programs that tell you you are not enough: ‘I am not smart enough’, ‘I do not understand’.
- Connect with the inner child. The child was scolded for not thinking like others, asking too many questions, or not remembering. Let the old energies flow out of your body.
- Say: ‘I am enough, and I am perfect as I am for what I came to do.’ Any comparison with someone else is abuse — you did not come to live someone else’s life.
- List the needs. Write what the right side wants (for me: fun, creation, dance, music, painting, games) and what the left side wants. I discovered I did not even know my left side. How can you have a good life if you do not even know your needs?
- Dissolve school traumas. Name the subject you were not good at and what it became associated with. Then: ‘I am not stupid. I am good as I am.’
- Speak to the ego: ‘Dear ego, please stop judging and seeking competition. Everyone has their own gifts, as I have mine.’ Competition is a form of lacking love for yourself. There is room under the sun for everyone.
- Undo comparison with siblings. If your parents compared you with a brother or sister: ‘I cancel competition with my sister. Her destiny is not mine. Dear parents, I leave with you what is yours.’ Feel whole, with your place in the family. We are all doughnuts from the same dough — how great the illusion that some are ‘more doughnut’ than others!
- Weave the hemispheres together. Imagine making links, bridges, and connections between right and left. ‘Dear right side, open to the left and receive its information. Dear left side, open to the right. You two are not in competition. You two create my mind, and I love you.’ The right brings creative solutions; the left analyzes and calculates — together they can do much more.
- Cancel the abuses: ‘I cancel all abuses that broke the connections between the parts of my mind, and I send love.’ Hurtful words, beatings, comparisons — all affect the mind.
- Reclaim your mind: ‘My mind belongs to me and me alone. I remove from my mind all programs that do not belong to me and are not love. I cut all unauthorized connections. I am sovereign over my consciousness and my mind.’
- Connect the mind with intuition. The soul speaks through intuition; the mind carries things out. ‘Dear soul, I love you. Please speak to me clearly, understandably, and give me signals when I go off track.’
- Close with the affirmations: ‘I am. I feel, I do, I love. I express myself, I see. I am neither unsuitable, nor too little, nor too much.’
The exercise can also be done on salt. Notice where it hurt: I feel the right side associated with the masculine, with father, and the left with mother. In the livestream, some felt headaches, nausea, or numbness. Drink water and stop if it is too much; if a reaction is strong or does not pass, seek a doctor’s advice. And proceed gradually: this is advanced work, and if you have not yet worked on your inner child, start there.
For homework, I leave you three things: the inner child–mind connection, the list of what each part of your mind wants, and the connection with your soul.

Frequently asked questions about mental clarity
What does mental clarity mean?
For me, mental clarity means the mind stays in its place: the soul gives direction through intuition, the heart provides energy, and the mind carries things out. When the mind is cleansed of limiting programs and no longer competes with itself, you think clearly and make decisions without haste.
Where does mental fog come from?
From what I have seen: consuming too much content, living in the past or future, programs absorbed in childhood, and haste. Persistent brain fog can also have medical causes, however, so if it does not pass, see a doctor.
How do I cleanse my mind of limiting programs?
Identify the program, then dissolve it with love and replace it: ‘I am enough, and I am perfect as I am for what I came to do.’ The two-hemisphere exercise, listing needs, and inner-child work help a great deal.
Do release practices help with obsessive thoughts or anxiety?
Release practices can support you emotionally, but do not replace treatment. For obsessive thoughts, anxiety, or panic attacks, see a doctor and psychologist or psychotherapist. You can perform release practices alongside this if you feel comfortable with them.
Your mind belongs to you. Love both its parts, stop making them compete, and let your soul lead. Sending you a kiss, and I look forward to seeing you at the next livestream.
Mental clarity: how to organize your thoughts
For greater mental clarity, you can begin by separating what happens from what you assume and what you need to do. Spiritual reflection can accompany this process without automatically explaining every thought through energetic influences.
A thought is not an instruction
When you have many worries, all may seem urgent. Put them into simple words and ask which requires action, which requires information, and which can wait. The mind material includes phrases about self-criticism, fear, and agitation. Use them as support for reflection. If concentration difficulties, sleep, or your mental state change significantly, seek professional support.
An exercise you can adapt
Draw three columns: fact, interpretation, next step. Complete them for one worry. For example: I have not received a reply; I assume I made a mistake; I can ask for clarification tomorrow. Close the notebook after choosing the action.
